SCOPE OF POSITION :

  • Plan, Direct and Execute Operational Project Management related to New & Current Development to ensure that Goals and Objectives of Projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. 
  • Responsible for all facets of project scheduling, budget management, construction management which integrates with engineering, construction and building operations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Project Management

  • Ability to plan, manage and control the activities and the resources of a project within existing constraints (time, budget, legislation) and leverages resources and drives the completion of projects and initiatives.
  • Effective management and close monitoring of external consultants
  • Systematically identifies analyses and solves issues and problems, considering different alternatives to reach optimum solutions in a timely manner.
  • Monitor, evaluate and compare the planned vs. actual results to ensure the status of the project cost, schedule and technical performance objectives conform to the project plan.
  • Competently and professionally monitor, record, evaluate and report the progress of project and expedite any delayed activity in order to meet the project schedule, quality, budget and customer’s requirement.
  • Making sure that information is clearly communicated and resources are in place to support the project

Human Resources Management

  • Establish work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Build and instil performance driven culture across the organization and ensuring that Performance Appraisals is being conducted at least once a year for All Staff.
  • Review, and implement all Performance Improvements required
  • Train, guide and motivate direct and indirect reports to achieve optimal performance, thereby contributing to the efficiency of the department and company.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in managing Building Projects
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of local governmental policy, regulations and laws
  • Strong leadership, managerial, mentoring and counseling skills
  • Resourceful, result-oriented, analytical and computer literate
  • Responsible, organized and professional in handling confidential information.

Qualifications :

  • Degree / Diploma in Architecture / Engineering / Building Construction or any related discipline
  • Professional Qualifications in Project Management
